Congratulations GCPS 1v1 Tournament participants on completing the Group Stage of the event! The stats* are in, and the bracket** is generated. Please peruse the bracket and be aware of your placement. The order the matches are played is important to not only the entertainment value of the tournament, but also the way matches are attended by the participants to scout out their potential opponents.

Here is the order of how the matches will be played: A, B, C, D, H, I, J, E, K, F

The way double elimination works (if you don't understand it) is it takes two losses to be eliminated. Thus, "double elimination". There is a "winner's bracket" and a "loser's bracket". If you lose one game, you will be sent to the loser's bracket to play against another player who lost a match. Seems fair, right?

NEW RULES:
1.) In the tournament bracket, whenever you are up against a player you had formerly faced, the host will ban the previously played map to avoid repetition. If there is more than one map previously played, there will be a coin flip for the host veto. The host veto will happen first in the map voting process.
2.) Since there must be a winner of every matchup, there must be an overtime. The overtime will begin right after round thirty if the score is 15-15. Each player will be given $16000. Overtime will be out of SIX (6) rounds; first person to win four out of six rounds will be the victor. Players will switch sides after three rounds of overtime but may not switch after the regulatory 30 rounds. There may be multiple overtimes.
3.) No cheating (including wall hacking, aim hacking, etc.)
4.) No throwing matches/rounds (including playing non-competitively).
5.) No excessive unsportsmanlike conduct (bm, excessive teabagging, etc.)
6.) No trolling (text/chat abuse/spam, etc.)

Matches A and B will happen this week, and the rest of the matches will resume the following Monday. Thank you for participating in this internal event.
