Homework for Week 9

Hey y'all this is Ryan again with your homeowrk update. We have final projects coming up so get on top of your assignments and get'er done.

Life Drawing: Stylized Self Portrait.

Psychology: We officially have our blueprinting assingment. You should know your groups and be getting ready to create your psychological games. The assignment details are up on blackboard. You have to have a half period report inwhich you need to present what you have at the moment. And then on the last day of class you must be done and have handed your entire project.

Game Development: Asignment 7 then the final assignment followed by the final project.

***Note: Assingment 8 is a ONE DAY assignment started and due on the day of the practical class.

2D Game Computations: Survey and test. Test only has three questions but it is a little harder than previous tests.

Sound Design: Flash Game Sound Remake. You have to replace all the sound effects in three of four different flash games. Note that the new files MUST have the same name and file type as the original sound effects from the game.

History and Principles: Portable gaming presentations in groups of 1-3. You have free reign to do your presentation. Everything from a poem to song to commercials are allowed so go nuts.

Homework for week 8

Hey y'all this is Ryan again with your weekly homework update. We actually don't have too much in terms of new assignments so you can take a breather this weekend.

Life Drawing: Stylized self portrait is our next assignment if you want to get a headstart, but don't worry too much about this one.

Psychology: We have to read chapter 7 for this week (next weeks?) quiz. There's an anouncement in Blackboard about it. We also have to start thinking about our blueprint project.

Game Development: We have Assignment 6. Two more to go after this one. You have to create a random number guessing game. Anyone having a lot of difficulty feel free to ask me. TIP: There's errors in the code that Tony gave you for the random number generator cpp and h files. You need to assign const variables to make it work, and you also need to change some of the variable names to properly reflect if they are double or int variables (containers.)

2D Game Computations: Nothing.

Sound Design: Replace the sound effects of a flash game with your own. You can either adjust the ones already existing or just include your own. Extra points for inputing your own narration and music into the game, but it's not necessary for the project.

History and Principles: You have three attempts to perfect a quiz on everything up until this point. You can have the presentations open when doing the quiz so this is not difficult by any stretch of the imagination. All of the presentations are actually inside a .zip file under the assignment tab.

***Note: remember to give Gerry a copy of your character sheet for the D and D report

Well thats it. As you can see not a lot to do so get to it and you can relax for the weekend. Or don't get to it and relax anyways. Either way have a good weekend ~

I think they are only events because of them being on the calander. Could make the time at 6 am or something.

Can we not make homework an event? Two reasons. First if you can see the event start you already missed the boat as you are likely at home and not in class. Second I see a flashing steam icon and think something interesting is happening only to be reminded of homework I'v handed in.
