I just recieved an email today from Dolby saying they are discontinuing their servers as of December 5th. Its a Very good program, only had little support and probably no marketing.
I am on discord chat now, mainly for GTA 5 but i will not be making any further groups for Firefall. As much as I would like to, its difficult for me to talk about it without getting some kind of emotional. which is really strange but i just loved the game that much.
Now this very short lived steam group will be getting retired soon. I really wanted this to help out our waffles community but other things happened.
If you wish to join me in other Steam games add me here or on discord atma#2059. Im not part of a large group since they tend to fill with trolls or players spamming chat with unrelated content.
Thanks again everyone for all the great times before. Ive really never enjoyed a game so much as i have with you and just hanging out or whatever.

Looks like yesterday, Firefall servers finally shut down and it was removed from the steam store. Its very sad to say, but firefall is now done.
I spoke with a guy in the discord chat about (illegally) creating personal firefall servers. He was claiming to 'redesign' firefall as he thought was best. mix matching patch data from here and there to create a sort of Vanilla and distributing it globally. It sounded pretty bogus until he sent me a laundry list of beta patch downloads. Managed to download one of them, version beta-1660 but not sure what to do with it.
Anyway, Thanks again everybody for all the ridiculously fun times. Amazon, Miru, DT, CE, SS, beta CF.

My only regret is not playing the game more before this year and ejoying time with all my fellow army members.
Firefall was a great experience, but really it was you guys that made it amazing. Thank you.

We all knew it was coming. Red5 finally released the vast majority of its team members. Now Firefall will only stay alive with a handful of maintinence guys. There will be no further development in the future. Mark Kern has begun his dream of finishing the Firefall that he imagined, before being cut from red5, the team he helped put together. Ember[crixa.io] has been brought to life This month, after seeing Firefall's immense decline.

For the last Crystite weekend before the patch, im going to be Thumping and Warfronting it up the majority of my online time. Except sunday, Ill be on between 6 and 1 am central time if you want to catch me then.
