Falkenberg's Legion is a multinational expeditionary force, under the general command of Johannes Christian von Falkenberg, formerly Colonel, of Hesse-Kassel. The legion was founded as an infantry regiment from the ranks of the Regiment von Trümbach/Bose, which saw service during the conflict in the former British colonies. Formed during the reorganization of the West German States and the liberation of Hesse-Kassel, the legion saw service under Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, acting as part of the Prussian contingent in the Grand Army during it's Russian Campaign. Following the withdrawal from Russia, the legion incorporated surviving French, Polish, Prussian, and Austrian elements to form the core of a new fighting force. Today the legion, and it's General Staff, fight anywhere in Europe both as an independent command and in support of whichever great power can foot it's bill.
