As far as knives go i think that a blade smaller then 7cm is ok, but i will check that.

In Serbia there is free wifi here and there, but its not very common, still, many cafe's have it, all gas stations and a few other locations have it. As for travel trough Serbia bus is the only way i would reccomend. Our train tracks are in need of fixing so trains move super slow and the trains themselves are not in their prime to put it mildly but the buses are good.

3) Internet. I will have my iPod touch with me. It can use wireless internet and I would like to know how easy it would be to get ahold of some public wifi somewhere in order to use Steam or Facebook to keep in contact with certain people during my trip.

4) If any of you would be interested in meeting up for food/drink or to wander around a local city for a day that would be fun. Or at least suggestions on places I should definitely visit.

Hey guys I have a few questions for you. Next year I plan to go on vacation and fly to Europe for a week or so. The details haven't all been worked out, but I know what countries I specifically want to stop in. The current plan is Britain > France > Netherlands > Serbia > Italy. I may throw Germany in there for funsies. I've been to Europe before on a tour, so this current list is for a reason.

1) Trains. Are they the best way to travel between countries? I'd mainly be going to some choice cities in each country to see what I want, spend some time enjoying food and stay a night or two, then move on.

2) Pocket Knives. I will be doing this trip alone and I would feel better having my pocket knife with me. What are your respective country's laws on carrying a pocket knife around in public or on a train? It's small enough that when closed it fits in the palm of my hand.
