As many of you have noticed, I haven't been putting out SFM works in quite a while. And some of you may already know the reason: I simply do not have any motivation.

I have never had great ideas, nor have I been able to call myself an artist. Yeah, I do have almost 700 hours in the game, but I can assure you, way less of it has been dedicated to art. I have mostly just been fooling around with the engine, grasping its basics, fixing stuff, porting stuff, that sort of things.

As more and more people get in SFM and the overall production quality goes higher and higher, I feel outcast, and I think my knowledge of the engine is far better suited to help new young rising artists to achieve their ideas by helping them with either tips or SFM issues.

I will thus take an undetermined leave from SFM with no guarantee that I will pick it up again. You might occasionally see me using it, but it will be mostly in case someone needs help or nostalgia. So after finishing ongoing works for UGC league, I will be out of office.

I wanted to thank all of you for being here the time where I thought I could make something out of SFM, and I must say I had great fun with it. I don't know yet what the future will bring: if I integrate an ongoing community like:

• Open Source Filmmaker
  
• Source Fidelity

if I will make a new group or if I will just browse the community once in a while. In case I make a decision, I will post it here before deleting the group, so that enthousiasts can follow.

There's not much to say about a work when a great poser and a great insert guy who does lights make something together.

Sorry for the lack of promotions and posters on my side. I've just lost much of my already little motivation. The ideas are just not flowing and been long since I actually made something good.
I'll probably take an undetermined leave from SFM soon, try to clear my mind.

To group mods and admins: feel free to use the group to whatever ends (self-promotion or idk what), save it from dying ya know.
