ПРО Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Europe

I am a fighter!

A group for Dead or Alive players mainly in Europe or gamers who speak English. Since DoA LR doesnt offer a lobby, you are welcome to coordinate your fights here, take new challanges and make new friends. The main focus on this group is building up a friendly community. Rageposts and insults will not be tolerated. We also will try to provide technical help and link all the official news and updates about the Dead or Alive universe by Team Ninja.

Time to get some dlc if you havent the discounted ones already. Ok the discount may still not be very high on certain products (between 30 - 60 % off depending on the dlc). However its a good chance to make a deal.

Summer (!) Festival Costume Set

OK. I admit we are a couple of days since the launch of this one with our annoucement, but not as bad as KT with their launching a summer costume set in November. Nothing says "summer holiday" more than kimonos in winter.

So here we are. Marvel at more costumes that all look very similar. What's your thoughts, are we liking this or another blow out?

Hey all - It's been a while.

Does anyone play Dead or Alive 6 on the Playstation?

Christie for instance her looks fit the overall snake fighting style and she's cocky, she's got charisma, sort of.

Eliot doesn't in my opinion

Leon, Bayman, their look fits their fighting style...brutal stuff

Gen fu is awesome, Lei Fang and her Tai Chi moves it also fits the character

Jann Lee, yea well, is awesome...

Bass...super awesome

So, yea each character provides a different approach and playstyle, some prefer to rely on throws, some have super advanced counters, some are super fast strikers...
And I'd like to fight different styles, not always the fast ninjas but you made a good point, I forgot about the core fighters, I bought the game so long ago ^^

But I think he even has a teleport that makes him reappear BEHIND you, I mean common...

I've been playing DoA2 to death on Dreamcast and not 3 and 4, up until this one and they had none of those moves back then, was kinda hard to get used to 'em. I know you can basically side step Hayabusa's teleport but still...

To answer your question I play all the Doa2 characters Offline, Brad when online, because he's a troll, a couple Jann Lee here and there...
I kinda feel like the new ones have zero charisma let alone have their place in a fighting game:
Kokoro just stands there being cute, Marie rose...she's 12...with an infant voice lol

Now don't get me wrong, El the ninjas were here since DoA1 and now have awesome moves that make way to fast-paces gameplay and all, when you see Kasumi perform a combo in which she teleports 3 times reappearing from above or outside the screen almost, include a critical burst in between, power launcher, continue the combo and it takes away 60% of the health bar, it looks awesome! Hayabusa is extremely badass too!

I get the impression that people think they're good if they're flying all over the place with the ninjas plus those two are part of the free Core Fighters characters, Hitomi is an easier character to learn and the tutorial fighter. Marie Rose has the whole waifu/lolita thing going that people seem to fixate on. Can't explain Lisa, maybe a bit of the ninja effect going on?

But.. I do know what you mean. I think it's especially worse when there's so few people who play, too.

Who do you tend to play as??

How come out of over 30 characters, I always fight the same 5 over and over? It's either a warping Hayabusa or Marie rose or warping ninja kasumi or a lil bit of Lisa or Hitomi....It gets really boring...
