Extended Tutorial:
This mod extends the tutorial level by adding one more room with 5 box long corridor.
In the first box, there is a torch holder that reads "there are two torches inside", when interacting with it. This torch holder will drop always 2 torches instead of one.
In the second box of the corridor, there will be a coffin normally found in the rooms. Inside there will be a healing herb and laudanum. Opening this coffin will result in text display "somebody could just not endure it".
The third box is empty.
The fourth box features regular beast corpse, player can use it to gain food and health.
The fifth box is empty.
The sixth box features a battle with single cultist female mage. This will give player more details about stress mechanic.
Inside the room, there will be a single madman. This will learn player more about laudanum, variants of stress and maybe reinforcement mechanic.
There will also be a fountain curio.
So I modified certain XML localization files for both the Commissar and Cannoneer. Now all I need is to finalize the lines. Problem is, which localization batch file do I use? I see the _windows folder, _nosteam folder and the original localization folder inside the game folder, all of which has the same localization batch file. Which do I use so that I could use my modified localizations ingame?
Send help.
Im fully aware that this would be pretty hard to do, but I wanted to suggest it anyways, since im sure a lot of modders could do some nice stuff with it.
Feel free to contact me.
(For me, it's an opportunity to learn working with FMOD)
