Dawn of the New Apocalypse

It's time guys. As always you guys get the exclusive. On Friday March 23rd we will be doing our OFFICIAL wipe and launch for 3.0! This means no wipes unless something goes drastically wrong so you guys can start your long term builds and progression! It has been a LONG journey and finally we can get started! Below you will find the preview of what to expect in 3.0! Look for the wipe to occur sometime in the evening, along with Sinders absolutely wonderful Town area being launched shortly after! On to the preview!

-All New Class System that MEANS something. Classes now include Medical, Survival, Farming, Blades, Bows, Blunt, Pistols, Shotguns, Rifles and Average Joe, which is a no skill hardcore class. Every class has it's benefits and come with exclusive recipes. No class lock outs! You can earn additional classes by completing a quest or by acquiring Knowledge Points from Scrapping schematics and using the Research Desk along the way.For a list of what is in each class please see below.
-Perks MATTER now. Complete weapon, tool and loot rebalance. You will feel the pain early on but will feel your power increase as you purchase your perks.

-Gun Parts have been removed from loot in favor of finding full guns in safes and treasures. You can still disassemble the gun provided you have the proper knowledge to do so. Upgrading your guns through parts can still be done.
-Over 30 new Assets and models for 3.0 including zombies, new storage like Tool Chests and Mining Carts, new beds and furniture, bathtubs, multiple food items, new weapons and many more!

All assets have been optimized to provide the BEST loading and gaming experience possible.
-Stone Axes are now best used for wood chopping. Added a Stone Pickaxe that is used specifically for Mining. You will need both now to complete tasks

-Storage now has progression. You will start with a Simple Box. You can pick up bags and coolers along the way to help with storage but you wont be able to make the really nice and bigger storage until you unlock them through perks.

-Crowbar that can be used to gain extra materials, upgraded engines and batteries from cars.

-New vehicles to search including Military and Police vehicles as well as campers, buses, fire trucks, postal vans, ambulances and classic cars all with appropriate loot.

-Dozens of new decorations and storages.

-New BBQ Grills and Smoker for making barbecued food including some that takes HOURS to smoke but offer exceptional food gains.

-New Microwaves for making soups and stews, Coffeemaker for brewing coffees and teas and Blender for making wellness rich fruit and vegetable drinks.

-New seeds like Apple, Tomato, Cucumber, Carrot , Marijuana , Cabbage, Onion, and more all with accurate models and recipes

-Over 70 carefully selected POIs added along with a Police Station and Army Barracks inhabited by Armed Personnel.

-New POIS made by top POI designers like TopMinder, as well as some exclusive POIs made by our own team like dancapo, Frantic Dan and sinder

-Twine is now found in more recipes increasing its value.
-Completely redone Localization and Descriptions for all Items. You can now see where things are crafted. Great work went into making sure everything was self explanatory in game through these descriptions and through quest logs so READ EVERYTHING. If you feel something is missing please let us know so we can add it.
-Maps can now be read from your minibike without having to step off it.

-Zombies can now take damage from your minibike, BUT beware the minibike has had its damage rebalanced so they may break!

-Stations found in the world have a MUCH lower chance of actually working.

-Cutting trees now gives you a Tree Log. Tree Logs must be scrapped in order to receive wood from them. You can make a Tree Cutter. When you use the tree cutter you will get MORE wood and sticks while using it then you do by scrapping them.

-New sounds for custom Zombies and reworked Night Terror sounds to avoid copyright issues.

-All new Radiation Zone Border. The air inside is poisonous, and the ground will kill you. You will need a full Hazmat suit (found only on Hazmat zombies and military vehicles) as well as Trioxin, an anti radiation mixture made from zombie blood and milk. Milk can be harvested from cows and zombie blood can be attained from filling syringes found in the world with the blood from corpses. Trioxin lasts for 2 minutes and will need to be re-applied before it wears off. Looting any of the containers in the rad zone WILL give you Radiation poisoning without Anti Radiation. The Rad zone is home to massive POIs exclusive to the zone, as well as new loot containers filled with high end weapons and items NOT found in the normal world.

-New wildlife like Cows, Bulls and Ravens.
-Redone rwgmixer thanks in part to Tin's wonderful tweaks makes maps less mountainous, roads more flat and lessens water so survival is more difficult. You will see HUGE sprawling cities as well as spacious neighborhoods.

-Redone Biomes file that lessens a lot of debris and foliage to improve performance. Less trees, less grass means tougher survival but better performance.

-New Herd Zombies that look like normal zombies but are different and only come out at night in every biome. They are more difficult to fight but not as hard as Night Terrors and come with unpredictable movements.

-Completely rebalanced food and wellness system thanks to dancapo. Food is HARD now but rewarding as you climb in skill. Meat will no longer go unused, and you will feel as if you are struggling to survive. Food now rewards depending on complexity of the recipe and availability of the ingredients. Tougher recipes yield better rewards!

-Complete loot rebalance. No more finding everything in one day. You have to go out and scavenge for every bit you get. Loot progression also redone completely.

-Added multiple new models for things like food to help with immersion

-Completely revamped opening quest line with more steps that acts like a tutorial for new players to Ravenhearst and also rewards some items and new quest lines that you can complete at your own leisure along the way.

-Every class now has a lengthy quest line that rewards xp and skill points.

-Traders have been removed from the wilderness and now spawn only in cities. Their protection has been removed! So you MUST defend them if they are attacked. No longer will you be able to safely hide away at a trader.

-Skinning Knife for getting more hide and Butcher Knife for getting more meat. Also a chance at harvesting a Deer Head to make a hangable Deer Trophy and a Bear Skin to make a Bear Rug.
-Meat now comes in both White and Red Meat with specific recipes using each.

-Meat must now be sliced in order to be cooked. Multiple new recipes for meat like Bacon, Hamburger, Sandwiches, Stews, BBQ Food and more.

-Completely Revamped opening quest line that now includes crafting a shovel, making storage and crafting flagstone. There are also rewards given during the opening quests.

-Multiple new quests that you can complete for more skill points and XP. Over 20 new findable quests and more than 15 new opening quests that can be completed at anytime.

-Completely rebalanced loot system. Looting in the opening days will be VERY difficult but as you level you will start to see better loot.

-More schematics! Some unlocks moved from Progression BACK to schematics. Some of the more important schematics now need "volumes" to complete like the Auger and Minibike. Collecting all 4 volumes will allow you to craft the complete Book which will unlock the recipe. Making Crack a Book GREAT again!

-Added Military Hatchet and Shovel found in military loot only. These tools are great improvements over the Steel tools and are very rare.

-Every class now has a starting quest

-NEW wandering hordes that get bigger over time.

-Screamer Hordes are now game stage controlled and have way more chances of calling in the BAD guys. You will also see random screamers in the wild!

-Added feral and radiated variations of every vanilla zombie.

-Gamestage adjustments.Radiated Zombies have been removed from horde night to allow players FPS to remain solid. Night Terrors will begin to appear in Blood Moons. The longer you play, the harder it gets. Every 1000 gamestages you will unlock the next tier of zombies. These tiers are stronger and more powerful. Tier 1 unlocks at GS 1000, Tier 2 at 2000 and so on. You will NEED the best equipment to defend your base and stay alive!.

-Horde nights have been designed to last LONGER giving you a full night of action.
