Server: Dawn of Men - RP/PVP

This is the community group for the Reign of Kings server Dawn of Men.

Herein lies the dedicated and detailed server rules, updates, access codes, and discussions pertaining to all that is related to this server. Ideas will be put together, updates will be detailed, passwords will be updated, and rules will be calibrated here on this board.



Server Rules: the list of rules is by no means complete and is a living document

Reign of Kings is an open-world full loot crafting PVP game. The atmosphere of these types of games can be relentless, especially in the early stages of Alpha. The people who opt in to support these types of games know what they are getting in to. That said, the game is in an early stage and there are quirks and bugs that need to be policed for server health.


*** YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME HAS TO MATCH YOUR STEAM ID ***

1. No cheating.. No exploiting of bugs or duping. If you are caught you will be banned.
> If you think someone is cheating or hacking, Send all reports through admins on steam or in game(DO NOT USE GLOBAL CHAT-No one wants to read it while role-playing).

2. If you can legitimately break into someone's house, you are allowed to steal their things and destroy their beds. *Do not dismantle/destroy their base!*

3. No base griefing/destroying or removing Crests. If you trebuchet a house, only make a hole to get in. Do not bulldoze the house.

4. No Building on Resource Nodes <Iron, Stone, Oil> (buildings will be removed from around them if access is restricted)

5. No Floating Bases(your base must be accessible), No Underwater bases, No Glitched bases, and No Sky bridging.

6. You may now build on the Bridge;1 Wall, only 1 block thick on the Kings Sword <NOT ABOVE WOOD tier blocks/doors. Tax Chests Remain Unblocked. No Building past the bridge

7. No RACISM - You will be banned.

8. You must be part of the group to be in the server. Anyone not in this group will be kicked and banned.

9. In the event of Server crashes there is a 5min safe window of no PVP(wait until the sleepers can move and defend themselves)

10. Do not build items to climb on peoples houses.(No Drum Exploits, No Furnace exploits)

11. Keep global chat as clear as possible ; Roleplay in chat! Do not spam chat with accusations of any kind(CONTACT a ADMIN if you have a issue, or leave a post in the discussions.

12. No Beds on the kings castle

13. Roleplaying is a must do not Kill on Sight. Roleplay!

NO ARGUING WITH MODS/ADMINS
NO ADMIN ABUSE ACCUSATIONS
It Will not be tolerated. Plain and simple.
My admins play too; they do not have the ability to create items, use godmode, or heal themselves or others. If you feel something is going on with an admin or mod, private message me and I will deal with it (if you Spam the game chat and it will result in a perma-ban)
