TENTANG Dark Mind Games Beta Testers

Beta Test group for Darkmind Games

Darkmind Games is Texas based game company that currently has one programmer and one designer. We're currently not officially accepting programmers and designers for work at DMG, but those that wish to gain programming or multi-member project experience may always join us as consultants either affiliated or unaffiliated. Once we are ready to launch as an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game developer/publisher, if you are a consultant, you will be at the top of our to-hire list.

This beta tester group is to expand our list of testers and consultants. It is a private group and will remain so for the time being. If you are interested in testing games made by DMG before their public release, this group is for you. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ testers automatically have their names added to the credits list upon completion of a bug report or game review of the game being tested. If you assume the role of a consultant/co-programmer your name is automatically added to the credits list.

(Note: whether a consultant is considered affiliated or non-affiliated all code written and shared, especially that code considered as primary source code, is considered as Darkmind Games property and cannot be used elsewhere without explicit permission.)

Free Text Based Game Demo Available!

So, a few years ago I wrote a pretty extensive text-based game in about the span of a month for a school project. Set to become the predecessor for many an Easter-egg of future projects/products, this game is now being given to everyone at absolutely no cost.

Feel free to play it as you like, but please don't bother addressing the issues with the project as it is unfinished and will not have future support. I always welcome feedback of course so if you wanna tell me the game sucks or is the best thing in your life at this time then by all means speak your opinion(s)!

I just don't want to hear about the things I need to fix because frankly I'm not going to. It's just an old project that I'm still proud of, but have since moved on to better things. To be honest, I just feel like putting it out there for you guys to have something on your HDD from me to you. =)

Oh, there is an install document in there for a more organized/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ installation. You could just technically run it from the folder you download, but if you want to put it in an install location and run it from a shortcut as per usual game installs, the instructions are given for that as well.

FTP Rough Draft Demo

I'm posting our first rough draft demo of a potential concept idea for a future game. Again, this is a VERY rough draft of concept and was developed in about a week. So, leave your comments and let us know what you guys think!

Consider this as a Beta version of the concept, it's got missing elements which some may consider bugs, but it's very stable so it should run perfectly fine.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download both files
2. The .exe will download as itself
3. The data folder will download as a .zip
4. Create a folder on your desktop called, "Courier"
5. Inside "Courier" create another folder called "90 Zombies Courier_Data"
6. Extract the .zip folder into "90 Zombies Courier_Data"
7. Move .exe file into "Courier" folder
8. You should now see the .exe and the Data side by side in the same folder; double click the .exe to play.
