The same-class organized assault squads of TF2.

The "Combat Rangers" was a simple idea concieved on a late night game on Nov.16 2008.

Lets roll snipers, and be organized and swift to get their intel. Suprisingly, it worked extremely well. it was Carson(Professor Crow) and DFX. The original Rangers. Soon enough, other players on our team rolled "Ranger" and joined the squad, and after 10 minutes we had codenames for manueveres, tactics, and fighting styles.

Soon, these self-titled "Rangers" would use other classes as well. Being a "Mercenary Explosives Team" or a "Russian Heavy Firing Squad" whenever the situation called for such teams. But still, the "Rangers" mainly swarmed the enemies, providing eachother cover with smg fire and sniping enemy sentries.

What people think of the Rangers:

"Apparently, we have a sniper squad, or Rangers as they call themselves, NOT sniping, but attacking in close combat. But it's getting ♥♥♥♥ done, so I won't ask questions."
