I've bought a new server from a different provider, Gameservers.com. Let's hope they are better than multiplay and we have less problems...

Same as before it's a vanilla setup and a fresh wipe, there is a forced Facepunch wipe coming down the line in about a week or so, so don't get too attached to our new island but I'm sure we'll all have time to make some cool bases.

We now have 70 Player Slots!

To find the server search for 'New Bristol' in the community server browser.

OR Direct connect by pressing F1 in the Rust menu and typing 'client.connect 108.61.116.152:28016'

Get in and start testing it, tell yo kids, tell yo wife, anything weird just drop me a message on here.

So during the server being moved to a new machine (because of a problem caused by multiplay with lag spikes) Multiplay's ever competent staff claim that there was "a brief disconnection to clanforge" and that all the player data and backups are irreversibly now gone.
I mean there is only so much of someone lying to you that you can bear, I've had constant problems with the server for this one month it's been setup everytime the problem stemmed from Multiplay's end and everytime they admitted it was their fault, I'm prettty raging right now as I've always been polite to their support staff and I know for a fact they do have that player and map data backed up, they're just lying because it would probably take someone a bit of time to copy that stuff across and they can't be bothered.

So I've cancelled with them and I'll be getting a new server hosted asap, any good hosts please reccomend.

Multiplay moved the server across to a new machine tonight but looks like the map and player data hasn't yet been moved across yet. I've requested these files be moved across asap so I should hopefully have them loaded back on tomorrow daytime at some point (the server saved a automatic backup of that data once every 24hours so it shouldn't be a problem).
If for some reason they can't that will be pretty annoying but there was a forced Rust wide wipe coming up in a week anyway so maybe it's not the end of the world... dem unlocks tho...

So the servers been pretty laggy for the last week or so, really frustrating for us as players so time to sort it out.
To fix it Multiplay have to move the Rust server to a new server machine, this will mean a new IP address so it will disappear from your history list and I'll post the new ip on here or you can find the server by name. Whilst they're doing that I'll also request a upgrade for 40 player slots on the server so we can get a little busier, maybe more players will mean we don't have to betray our ally's as much... maybe.

Don't be suprised if the server goes offline for a bit at some point in the next few days while things are sorted out.
