I know we do not have a division in Left 4 Dead 2 but I bought us a Left 4 Dead 2 server now with an incredible statistics database along with it. Really gives you more to shoot for when playing L4D2. It just has a much better scoring system for the game. And it keeps track of your stats from game to game.

The sv_search_key is "blackknights" but the function in L4D2 seems buggy right now. So here's the quick and easy way to play on our server...

Start up a game lobby. Be sure to select "Best Dedicated" for server type. It can be co-op or versus or whatever. Then while in the lobby just open up your console (press ~ key) and type mm_dedicated_force_servers 68.232.179.47:27015

I usually just keep that weird line in a text file on my desktop. Before I go into L4D2 I just copy it to clipboard so I can just paste it into console once in game. Here it is again ....

I also have the server listed in our Steam group for BK. So it shows up correctly as a group server in your left 4 dead 2 game. Enjoy!

P.S. I've also invited some new people into BK that I have met in Left 4 Dead 2 and had a good time with. Again, since we have no official division in this game or any Steam games right now it shouldn't hurt and will help give them access to playing alongside some of us more.

Remeber we run our own servers, and all you need to do is enter a single cvar and you can host your lobby game on BK servers. The cvar must be entered each time you start L4D, unless you add it to your autoexec.cfg file.

- Enable the console in Options > Keyboard/Mouse > Allow Developer Console
- Open your console with the ~ key and type: sv_search_key BK
- Start Game from Play Campaign/Versus > Play with Friends > Create Lobby.
