Hey everybody, I just wanted to give an update on Best Mods (bestmods.io)!

We are currently remaking the entire website (open-source) with a goal to make it like a Google for mods. Additionally, we'll allow users to up-vote or down-vote mods. We'll post the top best mods based off of rating, views, and downloads to our social media accounts and these mods will also have their own categories on the website. Additionally, new mods will be listed on our social media accounts as well.

There are other features I plan to implement as well such as allowing others to submit change requests to the mod description, installation guide, etc. and we can have a team to approve these requests. This would be similar to how Wikipedia handles changes. Additionally, I am thinking about allowing comments, reviews, and mod creators themselves to claim their own mods which gives them the ability to modify the description, installation guide, and other fields we add in the future parsed with Markdown syntax.

Mod creators, sources, and games may also file a removal request if they don't want us listing any of their mods on our website.

I am also looking for feedback on our current website design @ BestMods.io. Do you believe we should have a background image for example? I also know the search functionality is broken as well, but that will be fixed in the remade website (it broke when migrating to Docker containers).

P.S. I know the logo design and these update images aren't good. It's something I need to work on, but if anybody has suggestions on those as well, let me know! I'm trying to improve my design skills, but haven't found the time since I'm working on many projects at the moment.
