Hey guys and gals,

As you guys may have noticed, admin and owner presence within the server/community has dropped drastically over time. This is mainly due to us having life get busy and take over any time we once had. I myself (PRAWLN) have started streaming on twitch which takes up most of my time now days after work.

I won't beat around the bush and I will get straight to it. On the 31st August 2016 AusNZGaming / AusNZRust / AusNZMinecraft will shut its doors, servers will be turned off and eventually but not straight away, our website will be pulled down. I won't say we are shutting our doors forever because nothing is certain in the future.

Here is a quick run down of each thing we host and what will happen:

RUST
- All subscriber kits will be stopped so you will not be charged again.
- If you have a kit currently, you will get your full 30 day's use out of it! The server will not be turned off before this.
- Any server that pops up with the name AusNZRust or AusNZGaming will not be us unless we have announced this on our steam group, twitter or website. I do expect people to take over our name in an attempt to take over the hard work we have put into the server.

MINECRAFT
- This server hasn't been working correctly for some time sadly so there won't be much love lost there.
- The maps will be backed up in case we make a return.

TEAMSPEAK
- I will take a back up of this but yes, this will be shut down as well.


I guess I will end this with some background on AusNZGaming and a few thank yous.
3 years ago I started this journey with Legacy Rust, really not knowing what the hell I was doing but figured I would learn along the way. I've met some incredible people (and not so incredible people) with this journey. I've been a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to most, got a name / reputation for myself but have since realized that's not who I am. For you guys that fell into the wrath of PRAWLN, I'm honestly sorry. I have no excuses for any of this.I want to personally thank Owen (Paul) for the endless hours he put in helping me from the very beginning to get this server to where it is now. Who would have thought back in Legacy days we would have come this far or ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this big eh man?
I actually cannot forget Draa for back in the legacy days either. Him and Owen both helped me endlessly and put up with my endless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ / rage fests.
A big thank you goes to Kiteecat (Owens Wife) for putting up with Owen's endless late nights while we slaved over the server. You may not realized it but it really does mean a lot. Also for the hours upon hours you put into the Minecraft server. I couldn't have done this without you!

To Flaymar, You left AusNZGaming in a hurry and I really hope there is no bad blood between us man. While I had to take a step back to start streaming, and Owen becoming busy at work, you stepped up to the plate and ran this server. I owe you so much for all your efforts put into this. I understand your reasons for leaving and I wish you all the best.

PhatAlbert.. Mate.. You came from being in the biggest hated clan on the server to being one of the most liked and level headed admins. You made people see reason, calmed down situations, and kicked ass when needed to. I know you have been distant from the server for awhile now but you always kept in touch and made it clear as to why. I wish you and your family all the best bro.

Didgelz.. You slooot, I've genuinely missed our ♥♥♥♥ talking banter and laughs.. Our friendship went from me thinking you were a big mouth bish when I first met ya to one of the coolest chicks I've met through Rust. Thank you for all your endless hours of dealing with tough "customers" in Rust, Ark, Hurtworld and of course.. Teamspeak....

Kiwiscrub, Memelord, Ozzzz - I didn't get a chance to meet you guys properly or hang out but thank you for all your work you have done. It hasn't been unnoticed. You guys have been brought up to me by other players on how well you guys are doing. Thank you.

Clown and Death - I understand you guys have other priorities and haven't been able to get in game etc, but thank you anyways for your work.Anyone that I have missed. Thank you so much for all the help you have given with the running of this server.

Last but not least, Thank you to MrsPrawln. I no we are currently going through a divorce but I still wanted to thank you for putting up with my endless late nights, getting up in the middle of the night to fix things, all day weekends sitting there fixing the servers and of course, having to listen to be flip ♥♥♥♥ at players.

Thank you all so much for all the years of gaming and allow us to grow the way we did.
