- Be generally respectful (everyone should be able to take a joke though)
- Good sense of humour
- Maturity when important
- Willing to use our voice server even if to listen - Discord usually
- Have an open mind. (We accept all genders, religions, sexual preferences etc and some of us are pretty weird and gross)

Merry Christmas to those who are celebrating and Happy Holidays to all!

To appreciate and celebrate all the fantastic Alura members we have had a 12 Days of Christmas giveaways event running in our Discord server. We are about to hit Day 12 with the biggest games and giveaways still to come (within 48 hours).

Each Day's giveaway last 24 hours and is located in our #Giveaways channel. Check the pinned post for more entry instructions or click the reaction image on the giveaway posted by Giveaway Bot to enter a contest. There is no need to type into the channel so there is no access for that, simply hit the reaction image.

The Giveaways channel also features Bonus giveaways with varying time durations so check it out!

Additionally, we have special giveaways for our community games Lord of the Rings Online, Star Wars The Old Republic, and Wildstar with longer entry time than our 12 Days giveaways coming up.

Alura's Discord is active and features some fun bots for profiles, economy, dog/cat pics, slots, magic 8 ball etc., music bot, discord dungeons text based RPG, and now Game Giveaways!

I've seen that some of the games we are giving away are on the wishlists of people in the Alura Gaming group so get in Discord and enter the giveaways! Entry is as simple as clicking the emote response on a giveaway and waiting for the giveaway to end. Then you will receive a message from me including your Game Code if you have won.

~~Alura Update~~

We currently have active guilds/kinships in Wildstar and Lord of the Rings Online as well as a small Oceanic guild in World of Warcraft. Our Minecraft server still has regular players on it and this year we will have a team heading into Dead Matter Alpha. Alura even has a street named after the community in the game Dead Matter!

Due to Wildstar's announced closure our Wildstar guild will either be moving over to a private Wildstar server or beginning afresh in a new MMO. Suggestions welcome. Check out our forums for full details on all of these matters and more.
