Alabama Railfans

I just heard a brand new symbol for the 3B. NS 42A anyone have an idea of its origin/destination or what kind of train it is?

I was able to find a new spot to railfan in Mobile and I got a train there. My video is uploading shortly. Do we want to leave the discussions as one or leave them as they are now?

I had a great day of railfanning today. Not only did I get to see NS 8101 but an engineer at McIntosh, AL let me in two of the engines as he was taking the brakes off of them. When we were out of the engines he mentioned that around the holidays the CEO likes to take rides down the tracks in his special train. I put two and two together and asked when it may come and he said probably about November. Around that time we may wind up having an OCS come to Alabama. I thought I would let you guys know about it because it is a big deal. it is only a rumor for now though.

The LORAM Rail Grinder left Thomasville this morning. It was bound for MP 85 near Jackson, AL but it could be headed farther South.

Nevermind about the rail grinder symbol. You just hear MOW workers talking. I got to see it today and it is currently parked in Thomasville. Video is uploading.

I just heard dispatch mention an AGR train and a rail grinder. What would be the symbol for something like a rail grinder. I know it would be MOW.
