This is an open invitation to any and all who are interested in playing ArmA 3. Whether it be for the first time or as a veteran, /a3g/ is open for you to come play with us.

Bohemia's so-called v1.54 "Nexus" update was a flop. They issued a hot-fix to address the fatigue and weapon-sway issues. Many mods in our mod pack were not ready for Arma's core changes to how the game calculates damage, among other things: http://dev.arma3.com/post/oprep-core-mechanics-refinement

The latest update to the content/modpack was to update BWmod and ACE. They were quick to issue patches, but other mods have outdated values, most especially Leight's Opfor Pack (thanks nife you total autist). We are currently running the latest version of ACE and BWmod.

CUP Terrains came out. It's exquisite. We are switching out AiATP in favor of CUP. The transition should (tm) be seamless. We'll have ponds on Chernarus back, Arma 1 maps much improved, etc. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=30045

The btsync right now does NOT have @CUP_Terrains or the updates to RHS-AFRF/RHS-USF. These total up to ~14 gb of unpacked data. RHS absorbed parts of some mods we already have (ibr_plants and tf47_launchers), so there's a tad bit of bloat now (that we so far know about).

Let's try and jump-start ops again! If you want to play ops again before 2016 (like I know some of you actually do), download the updates yourself (see bottom). I'll try and rally Burger Ops to happen on Tuesday, December 29. If that flops we'll go full vanilla. We'll play it by ear :^)

The RHS and RHSUSF files are in your @a3gCP/addons folder. RHS servers are getting hammered, so I suggest that you at least try the torrents.

@AIATP is gone, replaced with @CUP_Terrains. This necessitates changing your launch line, or Arma 3 Official Launcher (tm) settings. I suggest you keep it around for now, since there might be an unforeseen problem with CUP, and other servers/groups may not switch from it as soon as we.

I'll continue to work on getting the show back on the road again server and btsync-side. There are obstacles of course. I am trying to upload the entire manual (non-btsync) zip file and my Internet's upstream is capped hard. Sorry about not providing the manual patch .zip for the last update, that's why I really need to provide the entire ~18 gb monster this time. We might consider taking some things out before we go final and commit it to the btsync.

Run btsync, close btsync, patch your game with RHS/CUP, don't let btsync run again. Remember to "overwrite changed files" on the Arma 3 sync'd folder inside btsync. That may have gotten unticked somehow, and has for some people.

Actually playing ops will probably crop up some further adjustments needed, so stay frosty and report everything.
