This past December, we migrated all of our Dallas hardware from one facility/network to another. We recently received news that our new provider in this location will be moving facilities, although retaining the same network services (meaning no IP/port change for your services). The reasoning for this is due to our provider's operational growth which the existing building can no longer facilitate due to limited availability. The expansion into the new facility (Internap building) will further solidify our Dallas-based hosting services with a larger hands-on team available to assist when things go south, or when performing maintenance procedures/hardware upgrades. This will ultimately allow us to provide a more reliable hosting service in conjunction with increased capacity for bandwidth and DDoS protection. This is all very much positive news with the exception of the extended outage faced by all services as a physical move of ALL equipment is required."

I think, from experience VS memebers have had with both Teamspeak and Discord, most of our community prefers Teamspeak as our mode of voice communication.

It's where we've made our home and the place where friends gather to interact and spend time with each other.

However, Discord has definitely earned a place within our community.

As both a hub for announcements and easy medium for administration, Discord has served as a service that keeps us connected even when we're away from our computers.

Thanks to Discord, there is a mainstream place to stay up to date, contact with administration, and share all the wonderful content on the internet that you want your friends to see.

Thanks to Discord, the Admins can more personally interact with our players and the community can now contact each other on the go.

I never thought I'd say it, but both Teamspeak and Discord play a very big role in our community, and I encourage all of our members to feel welcome as a part of the family!

We have decommissioned the other Volition Servers steam groups to minimize the amount of obnoxious groups and the management necessary to accomodate all of them.

Everybody has been removed from the following steam groups:
Volition Servers Teamspeak
Volition Servers Invade & Annex

This is a simple reconsolidation of our assets, nobody was removed in any form of discipline or reprimand.

As of now, the following changes have taken place with Volition Servers.

We are now implementing a donator system! For those of you that appreciate all the hard work and money we put into providing the servers you love, you can now reap the benefits of being a patron!

We're not asking for anything from you directly, Volition Servers is entirely a non-profit organization.
