When it comes to accessibility for the Visually Impaired the year showed promise. Let us hope there are more of the great:
The Last of Us Part One
Forza Motorsport
Mortal Kombat One
All super with a raft of options.
Other AAA games had more accessibility, but fell short of making games fully blind friendly.
And there were games like Baldur's Gate 3 and Starfield, massive games for everyone except the visually impaired.
More Indie games specifically for the blind, far more with no accessibility at all.
Let's hope for more of the good in 2024.

Was it a good one though? For Visually Impaired gamers there have been more Audiogames released on Steam. Overall though accessibility options in games seem to be either a secondary consideration or not thought of at all. Let's hope that changes soon.
The end of 2022 Welcomed back Ubisoft to Steam, they profess to be focused on accessibility, so let's hope this is a good thing too.
Games such as 1428 have shown what can be done in Unity when it comes to accessibility options.

So 2022 has shown promise but there is still a way to go. Hopefully we can cover more AAA games and see what steps they have made, big Devs have no excuse at all anymore.
So 2023 will be one where we call them out for their failings as well as celebrating the successes.

A number of AAA game devs have pledged to make their games more accessible. In this day and age they really have no excuse, so what to do?
Firstly congratulate the ones that seem to be stepping up to the mark.
Well done Microsoft.
Not a long list, apparently Ubisoft are too but as they haven't drtopped any games on Steam for a while I can't say for certain.
I would like to review more but as they never send games to be curated the funds have to come from my own pocket.
So I will do my best to up AAA coverage and hope their is not a sudden flurry of Not Recommendeds to list.
If any one has any requests or recommendations, list them, I'm listening!
