The US Carrier Strike Group 11 is a Joint Operations task force operating in the Indian and West Pacific oceans. Their job is joint support operations to the Royal Thai Army fighting Rebels in Northern Thailand, and to the US Army stationed in Japan and South Korea. Currant operational base is Roanapur City in Thailand, though the fleet is usually found on patrols in the nearby waters. They are a part of the US 3rd Fleet, based out of Washington State, currently on-loan to the 7th Fleet for an extra operational support. Occasional missions have been run over Iraq and Afghanistan, but with the drawdown, the CSG is now solely operating in the Indonesia area.
