Risen Realism

Before TIL went down, you guys asked for a realism server like what TIL.Realism used to be. Laid back and not nitpicking every little thing you can do, kill, or how you have to react to every situation. That's not fun.

Anthomnia messaged me to get me in contact with this server, and after talking to the owners for a bit, they seem sweet and really just want to make a place where everyone belongs. Where the staff aren't exempt from rules like some servers allow, where in the end, it's a game people should be able to relax and enjoy without worrying about every little move they make being reported.

While this server has nothing to do with TIL, I felt it really could be a good place so I'm posting to see what you guys think!<3 Not full on realism, it gives you the chance to actual be the dinosaur, but still have the freedom to make your own choices. A place to get away from the craziness on normal servers, but a place that people have to actually use common sense. Imagine that.

TIL Retirement

Well, it's been a journey. Filled with ups and downs, the TIL.TheEnd Isle game servers are finally being retired. Having existed since damn near the launch of this game, TheIsle.Life (the original name before it was shortened to TIL) has been a place for players of all kinds, be it playstyles or regions, to just hang out and enjoy the game. It made us so happy to hear that you guys enjoyed the servers, the stability we aimed for, even that people across the globe barely lagged despite the fact that we were rocking over 125 players. It really was great in it's prime.

But due to the drama, I just can't say that hosting these servers is worth their cost anymore. People have, even to this day, continued to spread misinformation about what happened in the past and it's just become silly to try to clear it up. I just want to personally thank the players that have tried their best to keep these servers alive, despite the rumors and player droughts. Ms.Catbug has been the most amazing help during all this, so I would like to extend an extra special thank you to her for all she has done for these servers.

You guys were a greater community than I could have asked for and I wish you the best on whatever servers you have moved on to :heart:

TIL's last day will be the 29th. Up until then, feel free to play on the servers, kill off your dinos with your friends in a final standoff, etc. I'll be making a list of people I see online on the 28th and 29th (that are also in the discord), and have a random drawing on the 30th to give away a $20 steam gift card as a parting gift. So come hang out one last time next weekend, thanks for reading.

The discord will remain for Ark/DNL server reasons, but we will no longer have chats dedicated to The Isle.
