Shockingly runecraft actually updated a few months ago after 2 years of inactivity.
Been running a (non minecraft) server for a friend's D&D job amongst other stuff.
Built my own home server to learn more about networking & virtualization.
Would totally run the MC server off it, but the upload speed here feels like its from Australia, so until I can get fiber installed that's not really viable.
Distributing the world file for people to download is such a pain as it's over 10GB, but I DO still have it safely backed up and can get it uploaded to a new server instance.
I need another project to waste time on anyways.
Throwing together and uploading a client pack.
When both uploads are done I'm gonna do a few quick connection checks and if everything's green I'll post a link to the client in an announcement here.
Started setting up the hosting environment, once that's done I can push a server build to it and transfer over the old world files (10.3 GB - RIP internet).
1) Working on phasing out other bukkit plugins and developing forge equivalents (like voteban)
2) Configuring mods
3) Compiling modpack for the server & client to be distributed via something (probably technic)
4) Set-up hosting environment, maybe domain name shi
5) ???
6) Definitely not profit
Runix requires signatures to be remain in waypoints and teleporters, and does not consume or record signatures, this means wapoints/teles can be enabled and disabled via things like pistons. Another change is signatures are no longer tied to NSEW positions, only the number of each block in the signature.
So if you left your signature in your waypoints, then they should be intact, and you'll only have to place your sig into your teleporters. If you removed your signature from your waypoint you will need to re-enter your signature.
I do have a compiled list of all the old signatures/locations of teles and waypoints that I can use to help people fix broken waypoints/teles if needed, but batch editing and verifying the conversion of 700+ waypoints and 3000+ teles would be a giant waste of time.

I'm gonna try seeing how well I can get a stable server environment booted with runecraft/bukkit/forgemods etc.
I don't want to fully promise anything yet but it's possible I might get a server back up using the old world files and a modpack published that peeps can install to connect to the server.
I've been playing around with a lot of 1.7.10 mods and the community has really expanded on this game and added a ton of content that's been fun to go through.
