Task Force Mamba is a serious tactical gaming community aimed at providing entertainment through Arma 3 gamplay using real world military tactics. While we are a serious community, focused on tactical realism and milsim-type gameplay, we do like to have fun! We have over 30 active members currently. We welcome anyone to join our TeamSpeak or any one of our servers. TFMamba consists of a great bunch of guys that are very helpful and will do their best to answer any of the questions you may have.

Arma 3 Map Pack | Bystrica Campaign

Fridayt was the launch of the first episode of the mini campaign using the A3MP. This mini-campaign will put NATO vs AAF forces in central Europe for a fight for survival. For this operation we will be using A3MP v1.4 and TFM Required Packs. Please make sure you have the latest version of Arma 3 Map Pack v1.4 which includes the map Bystrica.

Also, the mod pack was updated for those who haven't been around this week. Please run a SVN update to make sure you have the latest modpack.

ALiVE Public Server

We know a lot of members have had issues with performance during ALiVE missions in the past. In light of this we will not be running Operations using ALiVE until we determine what exactly has caused performance issues in the past. Expect to see an official Task Force Mamba ALiVE Insurgency server soon, we anticipate this will be a hit with the community as gauged in a survey viewable http://strawpoll.me/1434671/r. The ALiVE dev team just announced a 24/7 server running ALiVE in Germany thats seems to be doing well however there is no North American public server that we are hoping drive the community to us to provide the load needed for performance testing.

State of the Mamba

This past month has been a roller coaster of adrenaline, we had a huge influx of members which caused some growing pains however i'd want to thank all of the new training instructors that have stepped up and revamped the training regiment. Thanks to everyone for working hard getting all of the newest members up to speed as always it take a lot effort to run an operation this large.

As a reminder, we now have three operations per week running now. Mamba OP night on Wednesday, Arma 3 Map Pack night on Fridays, and regular TFM operations on Saturday. The only operations that you are required to RSVP for are the Saturday night TFM Operations.

On the squads side Grieze has taken over Spartan One as Squad Leader as Spoon's taking more time to focus on IRL and while we will miss having him around as often as we are used to we hope the best for him in life.

With the recent update of Teamspeak to 3.0.14 we have found it breaks the Task Force Radio Plugins, so again, DO NOT UPDATE.

I was allowed into the group even though i was too young (Thank you so much btw) , and as of last month i am 16, finally old enough to apply. I think im a little late though...
