With River's leaving, we now have an open moderator position. So, due to this, we're hosting auditions for new moderators. To audition, simply answer these three questions in the comments, as honestly as possible. The new moderator will be selected on the first of next month, but might be postponed for any reason (which we will announce)


1: Do you reasonably have enough time to watch over chat and discussions?

2: Why do you want to be a moderator?

3: What struggles do you think you'd have as a mod?

As we all know, this group has been very chaotic lately. There have been rule changes, fights, and several people leaving due to the stress. Due to this, it hasn't been as fun or happy anymore. So now, I feel as though it is time to act and make some changes.

Starting tonight, I will be turning off our chat until the first of next month, to give everyone some time to settle down and give us a mental health break. Any contests, discussions, and comments will still be open, just not the group chat.

During this time, we will go through and try to clean up things such as rules, channels, and get ready to find a new moderator. This might upset some of you, but think about how short 5 days really is. If you can't wait 5 days for a part of the group to be reopened with improvements, then please reconsider if you really want to be here.

Thank you all. This has been a wild ride, but hopefully, we can get through this together.

I never really know how to start these announcements.
I'm leaving the group, and therefore no longer being a moderator.

I don't feel like I'm up to the role anymore, and I don't feel like I'm qualified for it anymore. I have said things and made certain actions I regret, that may have hurt others.
I also no longer feel the urge or motivation to be present or moderate in the group. I've found it draining and hasn't really benefited me in any way I'd like it to have.

I feel it's best for me to no longer be present in the group, and to leave it up to Antlers and Silv.

I appreciate all of the positive interactions I've had with group members, and I'll most likely miss the group. However, I don't feel like now is a good time for me there.

Not long ago, Antlers & I agreed that the group overall was 12+. This rule is now changing back to ALL AGES. Now everyone of all ages are welcome to join. However, the topics discussed in Home can be a little mature (drug references + swearing) so now there will be a Safe Chat channel for anyone who is uncomfortable with these topics/language and for ages UNDER 12.

If someone under the age of 12 admits to viewing/chatting in Home, a tally will be marked (subject to change). We (moderators) are in no place to stop somebody from viewing it, we can only suggest that they don't.

I am unsure what other changes will be done to other channels, that is up to Antlers as the owner.

ALSO: This rule applies to EVERYONE. Regardless of when you joined. It applies to members, old and new.

TLDR; The group is now all ages, while Home is staying 12+. If you are uncomfortable with topics mentioned in Home or you are under 12, please chat in the Safe Chat channel.
