To those who are reading this, let us make it very clear from the start that the Administrators here at Liberated Gaming hold no personal grudges toward the members or administrators at SaW Gaming. It is imperative that we also say we do not HATE ReSin in any way, shape or form, we just disagree with how he has acted over the past couple of days and the lies that were told for his gain. We understand that in the moment he was doing what he felt was right for his community, but unfortunately this was mainly made up of lies and falsities about Liberated Gaming, something which we feel was unwarranted and completely unjust.

Below is a link to a recording of 3 of the 5 administrators at Liberated Gaming, Jason1, Reasoner & Squirrel652 attempting to outline what has happened, to explain our side of the story and to speak the truth about the events over the past few months. The Dedicated Serverbox

The main reason people currently have for disliking for Liberated Gaming is that they have been told we wasted SaW's money, asked them to buy a dedicated box and then did not move a server onto it without giving valid reason.

This is NOT, in any way, shape, or form, true.

ReSin and Joe originally approached Reasoner with the idea of buying a dedibox specifically for the Altis Military. They went ahead and did this themselves, renting the box out, WITHOUT the conformation from Reasoner. ReSin attempted to use this box as a tool to convince Reasoner to bring VTS over to SaW.

Reasoner agreed that if the box matched LG's dedibox specs and wasn't used for anything else OTHER than the Altis Military box (as LG's isn't) then he would move the stuff over.

The box was not the same specification as LG's box, however it was adequate. The problem the administration at LG had, and that broke the agreement, was that SaW Gaming's website was hosted on THAT box. This is why we did not move our stuff over. We told ReSin and Joe this as soon as we could after the website was moved over. The site is very popular and linked to multiple databases, and so this impacted on server performance. The team at Liberated Gaming did not want to jeopardise the quality of their gamemode by moving it onto a box already under load. This would have affected the performance of the AI on the server and also the server framerate.

FINALLY – The box that ReSin rented out cost SaW £157 a month (according to ReSin). Liberated Gaming host a dedicated box with better specifications for £40 a month. The costs that SaW pay for their boxes are ridiculous, overpriced and the community could easily be run on a lot less funding.

Banning People who use other Teamspeaks

Liberated Gaming has always felt that people should be able to play wherever they want, whenever they want, without being threatened with a ban. We still hold this opinion. We will not be seen to be part of a community that doesn't allow people freedom to pick where they play. That will never change. This was made very clear from day 1.

For the record in Recording 4, ReSin says he will unban Reasoner and the members of LG that were banned. This has still not happened.

The Lies

As shown in Recording 2 - ReSin claims he was called a '♥♥♥♥' at LG to the members of SaW. This is NOT TRUE. This is a complete LIE. This has never happened.

As shown in Recording 2 - ReSin tarnished LG with a hugely negative brush. He told the SaW members that we purposefully wasted their money. As previously stated, we gave our reasons, and in the recordings below ReSin admits he knew why we didn't want to move the stuff over. Whilst addressing the SaW members, he does NOT give all the facts, yet in Recording 4, he claims the he did. He claims that he did tell them we had our reasons - this is not true.

As shown in multiple recordings, ReSin says CrunchyBadger, Bulldog and Shadox had lied about not knowing the full facts. Those three individuals have categorically stated, and will continue to state, that they WERE NOT TOLD ALL THE REASONS. After the first conformation of the split, Reasoner and Shadox had a discussion at length about how Shad was not made aware of the full facts. Crunchy and Bulldog also had similar discussions, and this partly led to why they stepped down from their positions. The vote to remove Liberated Gaming from SaW was held without people knowing the full facts of the situation. They voted on something they didn't completely understand, and facts were deliberately held back from them to sway their opinion.

The Recordings

Recording 1 – A discussion between ReSin and Reasoner prior to ReSin returning to SaW and key members stepping down from their roles. This addresses posts being removed from SaW’s forums, Reasoner explaining again to ReSin why we declined the dedibox, and ReSin calling members of SaW liars. Some of this recording jumps, as the recording software being used crashed. The jumps are at maximum 10 seconds of missed content, and there is only two of them.

Recording 2 – A video of the meeting held by ReSin after the mass falling out and the banning of LG. This took place after Joe90, Shadox, Crunchy and Bulldog had stepped down. This was recorded by another user and unfortunately we cannot change the title.

Recording 3 – A soundclip of Reasoner shouting at Chev Chelios. In the interests of absolute transparency, we feel we should post this so people know everything that happened. Reasoner has publically apologised for this in the first clip at the start of this announcement, but his disagreement with Chev has nothing to do with the overall situation between LG and SaW – it was a clash of personalities. At the end of the recording Reasoner is banned from SaW Teamspeak, and he understands why.

In Summary

We hate how this has gone down. We have friends in SaW, close friends, and we don’t want people to feel as if they have to choose between the two communities. Nobody will be asked to leave Liberated Gaming if they play at SaW, and we hope SaW would do the same. We had to write this post, and make the recording, because we had to tell the TRUTH about what happened, as we were unfairly represented.
