Spiral Knights: Dunkshire

We are Dunkshire, the greatest guild in the game, and home to some of the greatest players in all of Spiral Knights. Through Doc, Whimsy, and the entire guild's sheer charisma, unity and strength; Dunkshire has become what is known to be the pinnacle of the Spiral Knights community for almost two years. We are the perfect example of what a guild is meant to be, a strong, unified group of incredible individuals who have overcome obstacles beyond wildest imaginations.

My name is Diarist, but you might know me as 'Doc' in game. I am the commander of this outstanding group of individuals, and every day these players show me what it is to truly be a guild. A guild that sets and example, and a guild that will live on in the history of Spiral Knights, forever.

- General issues that regard the guild and it's members.
- Who gets promoted/demoted.

6. Contribute to the guild every day. Whether it be something small like a few mats or something huge like 10k cr, every contribution is appreciated.
7. Show respect. This means people in and outside the guild.

It's been quite a few years but I remember the community was really good and back then I managed to make a name for myself (I also remember being the dude that taught everyone How-2-Banishark back when the deck was good for a few months). I wouldn't mind going solo and just doing it for the sake of doing it now. I need something I can feel passionate about again.

I've been hearing a lot of ♥♥♥♥ lately. Threats about quitting/leaving, asking why I'm not on or why the other members are not on etc etc and it's getting to the point where I've become frustrated.

I've explained this to many of you personally and I'll post it again here for emphasis. Believe whatever crazy story you want, but you'll be quite shocked to find out that hey; I have no control on the content OOO ♥♥♥♥♥ out onto their game! Surprising, right? I'm not a dev, I'm a kid. Whether I'm on or not does not determine the amount of playable content in Spiral Knights, and when there's no content to play and literally nothing for me to do other than sit there and watch my brain cells rot; then I'm not going to log on and waste my time, and there's no reason you should either. It's that simple, and the lack of common sense and understanding this guild has is beyond upsetting.

Honestly, what the ♥♥♥♥ is being in a different guild going to change? Do you think content will just magically appear because you wanted to be a spiteful brat, raise your fist and join another group of players who's prolly just as bored as you are, and waiting for an update? You know what, go ahead if you really feel that way. I can really care less at this point considering the majority of you fail to understand something so basic.

Really, what is the point of logging on? So you can scrape up money to pay rent for being in a guild, regardless of what guild you're in?

Stop paying our upkeep.

I'm serious. Stop dropping your crowns into the treasury. If you wanna play, then play, have fun boring yourself to death. If the guild hall goes into default; then oh-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥-well, we'll deal with it when the guild becomes active again, when the game has actual things to do aside from mindlessly running Vana for no reason or playing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuse for PvP imaginable or the 10,000th time each. Because right now, it doesn't. Shocker, right?

For those of you who wish you be with your higher ups and would like to know what we've been doing, we've been trying other MMO's for the guild to play while SK remains boring as it is now. Myself, Ed, Ceelo/Ryoot (if you remember him), and Betel have all been playing 'Vindictus.' I'm sure it's available in many countries, and yes Jason; there's an australian server. The game is actually quite refined, fun, sandbox-y, and rewarding. Also just going ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in a huge party of players to kill enemies is just the best. You can find Vindictus on Steam, and you can also find it stand-alone on Nexon's website.
