So I've been talking to Kevin Via Twitter and he has explained why he wouldn't allow me to reboot it.

He didn't want any problems that may occur on this group to come back and affect him.
As steam doesn't allow a name change this group would always be Kevin's group and that's something both of us didn't want.

The stress of the spammers and just plain childish people in this group made this nothing but a burden for him.

That was the main reason why he closed the group and the main reason he doesn't want it to re-open. If those spammers came and started offending people and this group got flagged that would go on him.

Just wanted to clarify this so everybody didn't think Kevin was just being a ignorant and saying no for no particular reason.

Thanks again for all you guys showing interest :) and sorry for anyone who couldn't care what happened and just got spammed :P

Guys Kevin just tweeted me saying that he doesn't want me doing any of this.
So I'm gonna have to close it all down.

Sorry for getting your hopes up I really wanted this to work but I guess I can't do anything.
It is his group after all.

Just kind of annoyed that he left me admin without telling me and won't let me use the group.

Well it's been fun talking for a day I guess :) You guys are really cool sucks the spammers ruined the original group for everyone.

Hey Guys,
Some of you are still a bit confused so I just want to clear up a few things,

First yes I know I'm not Kevin, he quit the group and without my knowing made me admin.

I have apparently been admin for some time now but never knew it. I tried my best to get in touch with Kevin for a good while now to sort this all out and he never replied to any of my attempts.

So what I've decided to do is not let this group go to waste and turn it into a group for all of us to just mess around and play games for fun.

I understand the whole reason you joined this group is to play with Kevin so I understand if you want to leave but I'll be working to try make this group fun for you guys so you don't feel left out.

And who knows maybe Kevin will come back if he sees the group running smoothly.
So long story short he never sent me to do anything, in fact he doesn't know his old group is active I just didn''t want it to go to waste.

Thanks to anyone who stays and Good luck to those who leave :)

You can't change the full name so it will still be Kevins Group just with CrookedGamer (Lack of space) next to it.

I'm still going to keep it like that and if at one point Kevin wants to come back I'll make him officer. Maybe if he sees what we do with it he'll come back.
