Kazombies is a drastically divergent variation of the Garry's Mod Zombie Survival gamemode. It has been so severely modified that it hardly even represents ZS anymore. The server has so much custom content (made from scratch) that it's more like its own standalone game now. A game that can perhaps be best described as silly, chaotic, but also deeply nuanced with many secrets and complex systems.

A small sample of some of these features include:
- Hundreds of new weapons.
- Nearly 100+ new zombies and bosses.
- Final bosses.
- A multi-stage system that makes the games harder for humans on each consecutive win, but losing resets the stage back to 1.
- An entire Wizard system.
- Many large-scale Easter eggs that permanently change aspects of the player.
- A complex trading card system where cards give buffs to the player.
- And so much more.

Kazombies started around 2015 as a joke. Essentially, it was just the old workshop version of ZS, but every weapon and zombie had their variables modified to wild values. Super fast butchers with 50 health? Why not? Planks that swing at the tick rate but only deal 1 damage? Sure. Surprisingly, this turned out to be pretty fun, and development for the server continued. Over time, as cool new things kept being added, the server became less of a joke and more of its own unique game. To this day, the server continues to run the old workshop version of ZS, and may be one of the last ones to do so.
