A giant overview to fill in all that I have missed from the past admin meetings, scarce as though they have been.

There has been a change to the way that we recruit trials, originating in a suggestion from Rabbi himself, who appears to have come off one of his many Jenkem Highs to manage the server: "new admins are made trial admins for a week or two. this is their trial phase, hence the name trial admin. after the week mark, we vote whether to keep or remove a trial admin based on their aptitude. it isn't a vote of their skill, but how they perform as an individual. If an admin passes the trial admin phase of a week, they're made into an apprentice. an apprentice can still host an rp themselves, but they're encouraged to pick an admin to shadow and learn from."

This would mean effectively, that we are far more lax with the recruiting process and who we accept as trial admins, as we'd be doing a second vote to see how they are holding up a week later. This could mean that everyone's favourite trial-min from two years ago, Karl Marx, could try again. I sincerely hope he does, the admin meetings channel of the Discord is more dead and depressing than Tim's soul.

Look, I know I already posted an announcement about it in the Discord, I'm running out of things to say. It's not my fault Rabbi plays Tarkov and ignores the Discord because he's tired of paying for a daycare centre.





It's the end of January, Bannerlord is around the corner, who gives a ♥♥♥♥, Rabbi just close the server. No one's gonna read this crap.

The Realm in Ashes

King Gregor Burnwood and his retinue were holed up in their last owned castle, the White Fort. Due to his lack of manpower, he searched for lords he could ally with. Eventually, he ran into the O'Connor family and befriended them. They promised the King protection and shelter if need be. After befriending the O'Connors, King Gregor rode to Haraldhold, where Lord Harald Tirquyn and his family ruled.

The Troubles

The Republic, led by President Victor, had broken away from the kingdom like many others had during the fall of the Kingdom. Due to their different ideological beliefs, they found few allies in the old noble houses. Despite this, their numbers grew and grew to the point where expansion was needed. They turned their eyes on Newmarket, a town just outside the Castle of Haraldhold, which was claimed by House Tirquyn. President Victor led Republican forces in to the Tirquyn town, and claimed it for the Republic. The old Lord Harald Tirquyn would have none of it. He rallied his forces within the castle and prepared to assault the Republic forces. Before he did, however, he sent an ultimatum to the Republicans. "Leave our lands, or die."

The Battle of Newmarket Town

The Republic refused House Tirquyn's ultimatum, and as such, Lord Harald issued a declaration of war. Lord Harald, and his son, Lord Gregor, rode out of the castle with their knights and smashed into the Republican Cavalry. It wasn't long before the well armored Tirquyn Knights began pushing back the lighter armored Republican Cavalry. The Tirquyn Knights surrounded the Republican forces, and closed in, killing all Republican forces, including President Victor.

The Battle for Lady Se

Meanwhile, King Gregor Burnwood had taken hold of the supposed "Lady Se" who was pretending to be the Lady of a noble house. Since Lady Se was a supporter of the Republic, the newly elected President William of the Republic organized a new army to replace the one crushed by Lord Tirquyn, and rode to where King Gregor had kept Lady Se. King Gregor was, at the time, transporting Lady Se to his own castle to hold her safely. When Republican forces came over the hill, Burnwood knights rushed to formation. Although less in numbers, the Burnwood knights were highly trained and better armored than the Tirquyns. The two cavalry forces clashed head on, and it was a mess of bodies and horses. The Republican forces were outmatched, and a brave knight named Ser Gerald slew a good majority of the Republicans. However, in all the chaos, Lady Se had slipped out of the Burnwood's grasp. Although it was a military victory, it was a costly political loss.

A New Age

Soon after the Battle for Lady Se, Lord Harald of House Tirquyn challenged King Gregor of House Burnwood to a duel that would decide the fate of the realm. King Gregor eagerly accepted to prove himself, and the two met at the drawbridge of Haraldhold. Both men's forces stationed themselves on opposite sides of the drawbridge. House Burnwood, joined by the Blackstones and by the Rangers on one side, and the Tirquyns, joined by the Blackburhs and Republicans. Lord Harald and King Gregor drew swords, and the duel commenced. Harald was far better in the duel, however Gregor was slowly beginning to catch up to Harald's speed. Before Harald could kill Gregor himself, however, the lord of House Blackburh, Lickspittle Blackburh, shot King Gregor in the back with an Arrow.

The Battle of Haraldhold

Outraged at the dishonorable death of their king, the collective Burnwood, Blackstone, and Ranger forces charged Lord Harald and his forces. The battle was quick and confusing, but the collective Burnwood forces were pushed back.

A New Royal Family

After the battle, Lord Harald crowned himself King Harald I, with his son becoming the Crown-Prince, instating House Tirquyn as the new Royal House.

The Second Battle of Newmarket

The second battle of Newmarket began when Republican forces, once again, tried to take over the town of Newmarket. This time, however, House Tirquyn defeated and destroyed the Republicans and the entire Republican Government.
