This is a group dedicated for testing out and displaying server running Classic Mode for Killing Floor 2.

If you wish to join any server below then when starting KF2 open the console with tilde (~) then type open <IP:Port> to join the server.

About
Classic Mode is a mod for Killing Floor 2 that tries to simulate the gameplay and various system from Killing Floor 1.

Here is a list of changes.
  1. Classic styled HUD elements
  2. Classic Lobby Menu and Trader Menu
  3. Custom trader voice
  4. Custom Music
  5. Serverside perks
  6. Custom perks/weapons/characters
  7. Ability to set event zeds globally or map specific
  8. Ability to set max monsters globally or map specific
  9. Custom chatbox that supports client configured color tags (^1 = Red, ^2 = Green)
  10. Classic style zeds
  11. Adjusted weapons to fit the KF1 stats
  12. Endless mode and Airship support

I've updated Classic Mode to work in the beta along with other massive changes.

  • Updated to work in the Twisted Christmas update
  • Changed the way the system saves a init config
  • Simplified the DrawHUDBox function
  • Fixed pound and infinity not showing how they should
  • Added support for outlines in KFGUI_TextLable
  • Added support on the HUD for infinite zeds
  • Fixed up the outlines on the HUD to only be on elements outside a box so players can see them on bright maps
  • Removed unused classes
  • Nerfed a few of the Demos perk stats
  • Prevent some unwanted things being printed to chat
  • Improved the way the chat system works
  • Print both chat and events to console
  • Added a outline to the scoreboard info so it can be more visible
  • All ZEDs now act more like the KF1 versions
  • Fixed issue with the gear menu attachments being blank
  • Completely removed the Flash HUD
  • Restored the old countdown sound for the lobby
