Seeing that we missed our own 10 Year Anniversary really shows how time flies. Id like to give a special thank you to everyone in this community, or even anyone who randomly joined our server once or twice -- this is for you.

Thank you for being a part of our community - from our early days of Half Life 2: Deathmatch all the way to our most recent Counter Strike:Source servers a few years back, you made this community special for us and better for everyone else. Our servers were an incredible place to hangout, spend time and have fun with others.

The best part is how many people message me good memories or throwbacks they had on our servers, even it was a small portion of the day. Always good to hear we had an impact on your life.

We hope this message reaches everyone well and wishing all good health for the future.

As for any news for a server or rp_ImmortalCity_V4, We don't have anything planned but there's always hope, we are immortal in fact. The fact that Source 2 is coming is big, so we are always on the lookout for something on the horizon. I'm hopeful in the future there will be an opportunity for an exciting server once again.

Been thinking bout starting the servers back up since summer is coming up and I'm gonna be free for a ton of it, so why not chill & hang with some familar friends n have some fun.

So the credits plugin is now live! The primary source of credits will be donors: you get credits for donating to the server, and they can be bought and sold to other players for ingame money (or items, or whatever). Right now, you can only buy 4 types of things: chat colors, name colors, chat tags, and case keys. Chat colors and name colors are pretty self-explanatory: they change your name or chat color to the specified color. Chat tags are various phrases that go before your name in chat (you can suggest tags if you'd like to see more). And, finally, you can buy case keys with credits now! Credits can also be earned by leveling up your job, although this will be much slower than donating or buying credits from a donor.

In addition, we now have a !afk command, which puts you in the AFK room (or lets you out). In the afk room you cannot hurt other players nor be hurt, so feel free to go afk whenever with no risk.

For the future: More things will be available to be bought with credits, such as jetpacks, player models, and more. You can post your own suggestions on the forums if you like.

This likely means there will be a few minutes of downtime, probably not too long though. Can't give an accurate time as to when it's going to happen, but it won't be too long. Just a heads up.
