Welcome to the L4D2.5 AI Director+ server group.

A group for gamers who simply want to play together with other pals. Talk to your other group members if you have a game you want to play!
To play on either server simply open up your console (default is ~ key) and do one of these two things when making a lobby.

For server 1 either select L4D2.5 AI Director+ #1 on steam group servers or mm_dedicated_force_servers "142.79.47.142:7100" in your console.

For server 2 either select L4D2.5 AI Director+ #2 on steam group servers or mm_dedicated_force_servers "104.223.99.202:7085" in your console.

Change the edit game settings server type to either "Best Dedicated" (if using mm_dedicated_force servers) or steam group server (then select L4D2.5 once you click start game)

If the server was in versus mode it wont exit versus mode until a new lobby is made.

You can also join the server directly via the main left 4 dead 2 menu by clicking on "Steam Group Servers" in the bottom right corner and searching for L4D2.5 AI Director+ to see if there is already a game running. This is helpful to do before starting a lobby because if the server is being used then a dedicated force wont work.

Server mechanics:
Custom weather effects that change each map load
Weather storms cause microphone & vocalizers to be muffled
Custom new randomized routes that change each play, including remixed or new events
Additional supplies
New hazards (alarmed doors; emergency exit doors; explosive cars; back draft inferno rooms; metal detectors; locked doors; barricaded pathways; piles of bodies )
New usable items (Vending machines; ammo boxes; riot armor)
Boomer vomit will temporarily remove part of your HUD.
Scavenge cans have custom new random locations.
Wandering witches slightly more aware (no effect to normal witches)
Versus mode water slowdown matches co-op
Versus mode defibrillator point penalty increased from 25 to 35
Survivor bots react slightly faster

Core game play mechanics are near vanilla. No special abilities, no '!buy', no flying zombies, no selecting your infected, no changes to gun play. Just added content that fits into the base game naturally.
