Rumor - Halo: Reach to use Natal?

It appears that Microsoft is launching their new motion sensing peripheral Project Natal next year. To give the new peripheral a boost, it only makes sense to have it work with the Xbox 360's biggest franchise -- Halo. And that appears to be what Bungie is aiming for with Halo: Reach.

Speaking with the Seattle Times, Bungie president Harold Ryan expressed excitement for the new peripheral, saying, "I absolutely think Reach could be enabled with it. - We're doing some neat stuff with Natal and experimenting around with it"

Reach is scheduled for fall of next year -- most likely just in time for Natal.

Personally I hope not, crossing my fingres that Microsoft doesn't milk Halo for even more goodness. I think Halo should stay with the portion that made it as popular as it is today.

True, but every game that uses Natal is bound to be able to use a normal controller. Natal will only be more of an addon. Like for the Wii. Very few people choose to shake the controller around like a madman.
Besides, if you read the latest announcement you'll see that it's not happening anyway.

You're talking about the inventors of Vista here. And you're calling them 'not stupid' - all they are after is money, and they do that by attempting to reach out to the casual gamers.
However I mostly agree with you, and I despise the idea of the Halo franchise in other hands then Bugnie's when it comes to making decisions.

It won't happen. Even though Mircrosoft wants their money, they still have a stamplle of quality on their games. They won't meddle with one of the biggest titles they have, they simply ain't that stupid ;P

Actually, Microsoft do whatever they want. Microsoft are really taking advantage of their right, milking the franchise out of every dollar.

I say that Bungie should buy back what's rightfully theirs.

Thats Confusing. I just don't like the idea of it. But Bungie does whatever they want!
