A new and fun 4x XP server with all the neccesary mods which have been adjusted accordingly. This is our second server in our Dutchstar series, next to our Vanilla server. Come take a look, and enjoy the spirit of Dutchstars!

Currently we have the following plugins and settings enabled:
Gathering: 3x
XP: 4x

We are supporting teleportation, currently our teleporting settings are:
Cooldown: 30 minutes.
Countdown: 30 seconds.
Homes and Towns: Disabled
Daily Limit: 5

Features:
We have enabled the Removal tool
We have enabled BoxLooters for anti-cheating purposes
We have enabled Auto-Kit for a starter kit.
We are using DeathNotes to announce kills in the chat (PVP Kills only, Suicides and PvE are not displayed).
We are using a Whisper System
We have enabled an Ranking System
Wood and Stone stack size is set to 5000.
Smelting speed is doubled.

Server Rules:
1. Admins are not allowed to give items, this is being monitored.
2. Admins are not allowed to participate in the game.
3. Players are not allowed to Spam, Advertise or extensively swear in the chat.
4. Players are not allowed to use third-party programs which are not supported by FacePunch.
5. Players are not allowed to falsy accuse people of cheating in the chat, contact an admin!
6. Players are obligated to have fun :)

Wipe Information
Currently we have no wipe date set on Dutchstars Modded.
Once we have a date set we will communicate way infront of the wipe date.
You have our guarantee that we will only wipe if neccesary.

Dutchstars Modded - Server update #1

Yesterday evening was a quiet night at the server, the population was low during the night (4 - 10 players), which made it possible for me to implement some changes.

Vote System

To increase the population on our server we need to make Dutchstars Modded visible for other people, one of the most effective ways is promoting the server on Rust server lists such as rust-servers.net, quite a few people already noticed Dutchstars on this website and joined it cause of that.

To get Dutchstars higher in the ranking (currently we are at Rank #188) we need votes for the server, this means people has to click on a 'Vote' button and login with their SteamID. However, it proves to be difficult to get people to actually vote for the server.

To speed things up, and actually reward people for voting we have implemented an voting system to the server.

How to vote
Type /vote ingame to see the weblink at which you can vote for Dutchstars (https://rust-servers.net/server/88814/) after that open this URL in your webbrowser.
Press the Vote button, and login with your SteamID. After that type /vote once again in the chat. Which will give you 1 point.

Rewards
With 5 points you will be able to claim an 'Large Present', which can contain turrets, c4, if your lucky though..

Raid Block updated

Raidblocker (which prevents you from TP'ing while you are being raided) was bugged. We noticed this after someone actually tp'ed while he was being raided. After that we tweaked a few things to the plugins, however there was still a way to TP while being raided.

Yesterday we made the blocker way more sensitive, as a result we can now guarantee that TP will be blocked. However, sometimes u might also receive the pop-up that TP is blocked while ur not raided, this is caused by the sensitivity settings.

Twig Decay

Every piece of buildings u place on our server (foundation, walls etc.) will create an so called 'ent' on our backend. An 'ent' is stored in the servers memory and save file which makes sure that ur building actually stays on the map and wont just.. disappear.

However, if the server stores a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of ents in its memory and save file, the server might start lagging (currently we are at 18.000 ent's, lagging starts at around 200.000).

To prevent reaching 200.000 ents, we have enabled Twigs to be decayed within 24 hours. Twigs is the building type you place if you wont upgrade your foundation and walls etc.

Payed advertisement campaign started

To increase the amount of players on our wonderfull server we have started an payed advertising campaign on multiple websites.
Currently we have made an deal with TOPG to show our banner at the top (http://topg.org/rust-servers/)

For the next few weeks we will be reaching out to multiple websites to ask them about theyre advertisement prices.

Voting for us on this website will increase the amount of points we get.
The more points we get, the higher we will get on the server list, higher on the list means more players to compete against.
