Side Note that's going to stay up for until we get a couple members: (May contain Spoilers) I realise a ton of people who may not have seen this show yet are going to say the same thing... "This is just a rip off of Sword Art Online! Why should I watch something that I have already seen basicly?!" Well my answer to you good sir/madam is this... No. Not at all. This anime is different for multiple reasons like the following few that I will name. Consider how Sword Art Online's story is first. It's from the point of view of a solo player. Someone who wants to shoulder the burden alone and wants to do everything himself because he doesn't want anyone dying due to his mistakes which gradually changes over the course of the show. Right? Well in Log Horizon it's from the point of view of someone who has freinds to play with and is basicly a leader of his small group because he wants to get out. Or maybe how the classes or setting of the world are different. Even the main characters class is different from a melee fighter class of SAO's main character to Log Horizon's Enchanter being the main characters class. Now these are only a few differences so if you watch the episodes that are out so far you can see and I don't want to really spoil the episodes so I'll end it here. OH! and if you still have doubts about watching it because it's too "similar" to SAO.... Guess what.... Technically SAO was a rip off of the anime .Hack// if you think that way.
