I'm going to add that it's always helpful to NOT have ANYTHING else running on your internet connection while playing a game. This means stop downloading songs on iTunes, turn off Skype, etc.

Rule #7 If multi-tasking with internet browsers make new tabs instead of multiple windows
Rule #8 Back-up your entire computer files once every 3-6 months just-in-case your computer gets Death By Lagged AKA: THE DREADED BLUE SCREEN

Rule #2 Do not play on a bad server for any of your games unless there's no choice
Rule #3 If any of your friends have bad Internet connection try to you know; help a friend out
Rule #4 **** YOU TELUS!!! Ragh!!!!!! (sorry that's just me rage-ing)
Rule #5 Get good graphic cards unless you already have one
