Attention, my dearest EZ mode connoisseurs!

If you are on the alpha branch and on Windows, head to the ModTools directory and you will find a WIP version of a dedicated room editor. It's much faster and convenient to use than Castle, but has several flaws and missing features (for now). I recommend taking a look and posting feedback directly to Quittouff on our Discord #mods channel before he moves on to something else.

I am also working on a guide to level creation which should be up in a few weeks.

You'll have to rebuild all mods for the new api

Patchnotes:

  • Support for scripting level/world structures, mob rosters and level params.
  • Fix rooms not being reloaded correctly from altered CDB
  • Fix castleDB's turmoil when editing rooms
  • Fix random crash when uploading mods
  • Fix upload of mod's category
