This whole submarine debacle has me thinking about how quickly our relationship went underwater. Our romance was titanic, an ill-fated voyage. We were a sinking ship for longer than I wished to admit, I just didn't wanna see it. I thought I was impenetrable, sealed tight for as long as I can remember. You were the first one to open up my steel hull and now I'm overflowing with emotion. Everything that could've gone wrong went wrong, and in what felt like an instant we were ice-cold. From one tragedy to another, I've locked myself back in my airtight sphere and drifted away. I've sunken to depths I thought I could never reach and now I'm struggling to get back up to the surface. I'm running out of breath and deeply want to let myself out but I can feel the crushing pressure just outside these walls and there's no help in sight. My heart will go on, but for better or worse I'll always remember our maiden voyage. Tell your mom I said hi.
