So. It's been a while since I said anything about this.
The newest "News" we have is the new internet Service provider has came to talk to us about running lines through the property. We have approved it. So they are starting to run lines down our street.

Now. The time is around Spring of next year or sooner. (Hoping it will be on the anniversary of the servers. Won't know until then.) The Internet should be able to handle more traffic. (Fiber optic) So hopefully no more troubles.

But before the servers start, I really need to talk to the admins about keeping the rules valid. I've been hearing that some of them haven't been warning people and that needs to change. However though, I may have some plans that can make everyone happy. And I'm talking about The Forgotten Server.

All the servers will get a "Refurbishment" to fix all their problems and get all the updates for the servers, mods, maps, and new addons on top of that. It will be a lot of work. But it will be worth it in the end.

Hope to start it soon and get it going once more.

Updates: So I know I've only told some people this but, Mainstream (New Internet Provider) is now confirmed to come through this way within the following months. When they are out here, I will let you guys know. We are currently in #10 of places to get Fiber.

To confirm Rumors: To confirm them, yes, one of the now 4 servers did launch early this morning for testing. I have decided to run it again here soon since I was spammed. XD If you're wanting to join for testing, it will be running The Forgotten Server once again.

So since a lot of people have been asking me what has happened to the servers, I thought I would finally tell you all. Sorry I haven't released this information sooner. It was due to me being really busy and I thought everything would be done over on the ISP's side. So... Here's what's going on.

Good news, bad news.

Good news is/was that I was working on an extreme major update to all the servers to get them better than ever. (Including resurrecting an old beloved server) and having it to where the servers will run longer if not full time. However... (bad news part) When I was doing this update, Frontier (The Internet Service Provider) started to upgrade their systems in late July / early August due to how many people were join their ISP lines. (Which explains the lag and slowness to the servers for a while) And I was thinking "It shouldn't take that long. I'll just keep them running". So I continued to run them and started to notice the Internet running very slow (As slow as dial up) and even got to the point I couldn't even join my own servers via LAN. It would just time me out... So I was thinking that everything's running horrible, I need to shut these servers off for the meantime until they got everything done because I don't want to put you all through even laggier servers. It's now October, and everything is still slow. How slow? You are lucky to watch a video in 360p with out buffering. Youtube reverts to 144p for videos. it can't even handle hosting a P2P server with one person on it (Besides me). And as I write this, I have to do it through my browser because the Steam client will not work properly with this slow Internet...

So I've been waiting for them to finish whatever they have been doing to start them back up. If the speed ever comes back... But for the meantime, Me, some very good friends of mine from Steam, and staff from the servers will continue to create this update and put it into the servers for you all and wait for the internet to come back again to reopen the servers once again to you all.

We are so very very sorry for the servers not being up anymore.

P.S. Due to all the servers being shutdown, the AiT Server test will be halted till further notice.

For starters, I do aplogize that I am 14 days late with this. I haven't been able to get to the servers to change their info. Just been too busy with work, prepping for College, etc.

Anyway, I am announcing the new/ last group of AiTs today.
If I have discussed anything about being promoted to an AiT in August and you don't see your name up here, please let me know.
