Its some time again since i´ve done the last announcemt. I was busy with real life and didn´t really had much time.

Meanwhile Battlefield Hardline was released, but well - it´s more battlefield than a heist game.
Still i like it, because i allready played much Battlefield before, and the new setting (cops vs. criminals) is somehow very interesting.
If you like the game or if you are interested to play it in future, i got some news for you...
We will build a platoon for CriminalsUnited inside battlelog soon, so we can meet up there and play some rounds from time to time.

The Battlefield Hardline Open Beta is live! Witnessing the Battlefield community throw itself into heists, car chases and all-out warfare is a real treat for us and you’ve shown some knock-out skills already. But we can give you an extra edge on the streets.

We gathered the Battlefield Hardline devs who jotted down this list of the 10 most valuable tips when hitting Conquest, Hotwire or Heist mode in the beta. Browse through these awesome tricks and you’ll be racking up points faster than ever!


The golden rule of Battlefield: concentrate on the objective. An impressive K/D ratio is good and all, but playing each game mode’s objective will always be more rewarding. So get out there, capture the Control Points, cars, and cash!

Don’t forget to Spot enemies. This helps you and your squad see enemy activity on the mini-map, and can be the difference between life and death.

We know you’re anxious to get another piece of the action directly after you’ve been taken down. Spawn on a squad mate to get into the action faster. Be careful though – chances are you’ll spawn right into the heat of a firefight.

If your teams has used the Grapple Hook to quickly get to a better vantage point, remember to interact with the cable to pick up the Hook. This helps cover your tracks so an enemy can’t see that you’ve used it. Conversely, keep an eye out for any Grapple Hooks and Ziplines placed by enemies to learn where they’re at.


In the fast-paced Hotwire mode, use the Mechanic loadout, equip the Repair Tool and ride on the vehicle’s passenger side to crank up the points. You can be top of your team without getting a single kill!

Try to defend the main highway if you’re playing on the vast Dust Bowl map. When you’re trying to out run the enemy, don’t be afraid to get dirty – sometimes your best option is to go off road or through a backyard.


Know your surroundings! To master the Dust Bowl map, control the high ground on both ends of the map. Find the Stinger Battle Pickups and take out those pesky choppers. Learn where to place Zip Lines to move between Control Points quickly.

It’s always tempting to capture more Control Points in Conquest mode. However, if your team already has a majority of the Control Points, you should concentrate on defending them and not rushing towards the enemy’s. Don’t spread your defenses too thin!


Pulling off a Heist on the Bank Job map? Criminals should know that there is more than one entrance into the vault – such as the roof. Search the map for additional access points and coordinate with your team on what entrances to open or leave closed. Cops should be quick on their feet and shift position as soon as the drop off location changes.

The Security Room controls the security doors directly outside the vault. Criminals can use the button to close off the easiest route for the cops to assault them.

It’s time to get a piece of the action! Today we are announcing that Battlefield Hardline’s open multiplayer beta will be active between February 3 and February 8*. Available to players worldwide on PC via Origin, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, the open beta will give you a small taste of what’s in store when the game hits the streets beginning March 17. Developed by Visceral Games, Battlefield Hardline is a fresh new take on Battlefield, built on strategy, speed and story in single player and multiplayer, delivering a complete first person shooter experience.


The open beta will let you try out three different multiplayer maps and modes. First off, Hotwire mode brings high-speed chases to the Battlefield, as the criminals attempt to steal a list of marked cars while the cops try to repossess them. Available on two maps in the beta, Downtown and Dust Bowl, success in Hotwire will require excellent teamwork and precision driving.

The desert town of Dust Bowl known for its drug trafficking problems will also be playable on Conquest, the fan favorite Battlefield mode, which takes the battle up to 64 players. Finally, there’s the Bank Job map where you’ll get to try out Heist mode. The criminals are trying to break into a bank vault, but the cops are doing their best to stop them. Which side of the law will you ride with?


On top of all this, one player on each side can help out their team through Hacker mode. Similar to Commander in Battlefield 4, Hacker mode takes surveillance to the next level as the Hackers can take control over security cameras, spot enemies and specify areas on the Battlefield for their team to attack or defend. Hacker mode will be playable on all modes in the beta.

Battlefield 4 players hitting the Hardline beta will receive an extra perk* for joining the chaotic urban warfare: the Hardline Dog Tag. If you have a Battlefield 4 account and try out the Battlefield Hardline beta the dog tag will be unlocked in the next patch for Battlefield 4 for you to proudly wear in-game. When is the Battlefield Hardline open beta?

Buckle up, the Battlefield Hardline Open Beta hits the streets on February 3 and ends on February 8! It’ll be available to all players around the world, so there’s no excuse to not try it.

How do I register for the beta?

It’s an open beta, there’s no need to register!

What platforms is the beta going to be available on?

What time will the beta be available to download on February 3?
