thats something i dont really have an opinion on i love my heritage but i dont think we should secede atleast not right now in these times but to tell the truth if the south were to break away again i wouldnt hesitate to fight for the confederacy

first of all many blacks were not forced to fight ever heard of the louisiana native guard composed of 1400 black men or the 1st native guard of louisiana composed of over 3000 black men all who OFFERED their services to dixie, and early in the war FREE blacks formed their own regiments and marched down to OFFER their services to dixie. second it was exactly the same in the north blacks were not allowed to vote because of skin color and even after all the blacks were freed ever heard of the jim crow laws causing even more problems and nation wide segregation that caused one of the greatest men in history to die to change it

and plus this over 3000 blacks owned slaes themselves and over 50000 blacks fought for the confederacy

really thats the least the very least thing anyone fought for. really your ignorance is stunning i mean common sense in those times would you go out fight and die for slaves. and the so called hero abraham licoln didnt care either way as well one of his famous quotes on his own memorial is "if i could perserve the union without freeing the slaves i would, if i could preserve the union and free the slaves i would, if i could preserve the union while freeing only some of the slaves i would."
and thats what the emancipation proclamation did only free the slaves in the southern states not the northern

then why do you hate those who fought and died for their state rights. i support the confederacy and for that i cant get along with the evolution of the world!? why dont you consider this for a second im a texan born and true if theres one thing we never forget is a battle fought and lost
