We are the Chernarus Defense Force

Chernarussian military has been trained by Western armies in past years, but it retains weapons and equipment of the Soviet Army, its direct predecessor. Its main task during the past years for was to fight challenging counter-insurgecy campaign in the mountaineous regions of Northern Chernarus.

Due to the current outbreak of the undead, the Chernarussian military has had to change tactics of counter insurgency to civil protection. Unable to stop the outbreak and with the infected spreading the entire landscape. The CDF has set its focus on protecting the living and fighting off the undead. Setting up check points all over Chernarussia, when not in headed battle with the undead and the daily probelsm of survival. The CDF has to deal with bandits that roam and loot what remains of the country killing innocent refugees.

The CDF's main goal is survival and protecting of the weak.
