It is a lot quicker to download them here than in-game, as you might know.

Once you've downloaded it, unzip it and just copy the .bsp file to your TF2 Maps folder which is typically here:

C:\Program Files x86\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\maps

Having needed to reinstall the server operating system, database etc. Trade Plaza is now available again.

There are still issues with the shop not working, but your text colours from before should still be there.

I will resolve the glitches over the next few days hopefully.

The Bark servers (well some of them) will be relaunched shortly.

There will be a few changes this time around, as I am not open to the politics that come with managing people. I get enough of that elsewhere.

The main change will be that there will be NO ADMINS this time around. Yes, you read right.

There will also be no rules on for instance Trade Plaza.

This also means you will be vulnerable to hackers, which is how it will be.

I can already hear the moans and groans about this decision, but this is really simple. Play on the servers or don't. It really is your choice.

Remember:
- You can always switch to the other team if you are being camped.

- You can overcome an overwhelming sentry nest at your spawn through a concerted effort. I have been part of this on the Neon Heights servers many times (one of the most successful set of servers for TF2)

- You can mic spam, and players can mute you as they choose.

The Neon Heights servers and many other successful servers have followed this model for years, so there you go. It's not like I am just making this all up.


You can email [email protected] as always if you have problems with players or hackers or bugs.

I will perma-ban any hackers upon receiving your email. Other than that it's pretty much as a free for all allowing spawn camping, etc.
