Had noticed that cargo ships can now come to within a few hundred meters of the asteroid field!! which meant they started firing at anything in range.

I've disabled them for now.

Check your damage - if its bad then let me know and I can either switch the server to creative for an hour enabling you to recover the damage or give you materials to help out.
