I would like to work on a mission based in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban.

Mods will need to be downloaded.

Obviously I won't waste my time on it if no one wants to download the (2) required mods, but if we all DO get them, it opens up a hell of a lot more (varied) mission scenarios.

To make it easy for mods if everyone could give me a list of cool mods they want to use (No ACRE that breaks arma) I will put them into one mod file so its easy for everyone to download them and install them also it will mean we only have to download one thing once. Here's what ive got so far.

Hello everyone, Saturdays mission is a very hard one i mean we need more than 6 people to do this looking at you inactives! Basically we got to take out the Opfor General. We can take 3 routes to take out the General Air, Land and Sea each has its own difficulties and will prove to be the hardest thing you have played yet. So stop playing CS, dota 2 and Team fortress and come and join the intense fight.

Yo, 5DEC, next saturday or friday, when ever's good I want to test out some high altitude parachuting, we've done it before but this time I want to see how responsive the ai are to us falling out of the sky. let me know if you can do it.

We seem to have certain members that we can pretty much count on when a mission is held. I realise that not everyone can make it every time, but I believe there should be a minimum attendance.

I also think that active members should regularly check the Steam group for announcements, as I think only a couple of us check it.

If we are to be a (somewhat) dedicated Arma group, I think we need to step it up a bit. That means downloading mods if needed and getting them set up before mission start. If we check the group page a few times a week, there should be more than enough notice if we need to download something extra.

How about we send a message to everyone in the group directing them to this post? If they want to stay active, respond here, otherwise lets clear it out a bit and maybe recruit some new blood.

You're the founder Helios, its ultimately your call, but I think we've got something good going that we can build upon, otherwise all we have is a big 'friends list'.
