30-Five-Cents

Thirty Five Cents (stylized as 30-Five-Cents) is an Australian musical trio originating from Brisbane, Queensland. The band was formed in 2016 by Twenty Cents, along with members Five Cents and Ten Cents. The trio rose to fame in the mid–2016s, after several years of touring and independent releases. They put out two self-released songs, Vac Banned in 2016 and Paladins in 2016, before being signed by Fueled by Ramen in 2016.

The band was formed in 2016 in Brisbane, Queensland by college friends Daniel Stacey, Jett McCrystal and Chris Duff. Chris came up with the band's name while grabbing 3 coins out of his pocket: a 10 cent peice, a 20 cent piece and a 5 cent piece. 30-Five-Cents explains that this story of a moral dilemma was the inspiration for the name of the band.
