The Second Gubbins Infantry Regiment was formed from the ashes of the great counterimperial force that conquered a land long forgotten. Their territory was as baren and cold as it was vast, with hostile forces seeking to seize power and wreak destruction. To say they enjoyed their brief reign would be far too generous, but they reigned for some fifteen minutes before ultimately deciding that their continet sucked, and that their continental infantry force would promptly be disbanded.

Four hundred thousand years have passed, and yet their decendants have not forgotten their predecor's greatness. Tales have been told of ancient worlds and beefy armies, of great kings and greater battles. These ancient memories combined with the excessive brashness of some idiotic individuals has breathed new purpose into the anarchy of the Napoleonic Wars. The gubbins will rise again.
