Hello everyone, as you will have seen from the title i am planning another special op for next month, there will be no role sign ups or anything of the sort, it will run as we always do, and select a squad lead and 2IC on the day...

Good afternoon all,

As some of you were made aware, the officers and SNCOs have come to the consensus that for the time being, the private server missions will be on hiatus in favour of the public server.

The main factor for this decision (which we have not made lightly) is the poor numbers we are seeing for weekday missions. As such, the Wednesday op day is now moving back to Thursday and will be a gathering on the public server to play on that and get numbers up for it. Saturdays will work on a "public server unless otherwise stated" basis, meaning that if someone really wants to Zeus a mission on our private server, then we will do a mission on the private server, otherwise, public server it is.

Whilst I appreciate the public server may not peak everyone's interest, we do expect and want you on for the benefit of the unit/community going forward. The mission file is work in progress, and whilst feedback is appreciated, ultimately decisions are left to Dizzy, Dale, Ridings, Jack and I. As such, if we make a wrong decision, the blame lies with us. Feel free to let me know of any glaring bugs or issues, and ideas. I may not directly reply to your feedback, but know that it will be read and considered.

Keep in mind whilst you are on the public server, you are representing the unit. You may come across new players, as such, help them out, be patient with them. If we show a friendly and professional atmosphere, then who knows, maybe these new players will want a look at the private side of the unit.

I can't stress enough that this is a decision we haven't taken lightly, we want to be on the private server as much as you guys, doing special missions, etc. But at the same time, we need to get recruitment picked up and aim for more numbers on the server so we can start going forward with other plans.

For example, qualifications. These will get rolled out again at some point, but as a collective decision they are on hiatus until more people are in the unit. Not much point teaching people how to do niche roles if they're never going to get used due to low numbers.

Hopefully you all appreciate where we're coming from and help us out with this going forward.
